Who Cares To Be Right?

In today's day and age, it seems as though everyone is scrambling to be the best and ultimately be right. It is with great humility that I stand here and say "I don't always agree with others, and my opinions seem to be right as they flow scattered in my head", but what people don't seem to understand is that being right comes with great privilege and power.
Taking into example the theory, or should I say theories, of how humans came to be. God, dust, and best yet, monkeys are all familiar theories and beliefs cultivated and propagandized by the past, present, and soon to be future living people. Okay, maybe we did come from monkeys (highly doubt it) and maybe we even came from cockroaches, but does it really matter? Does fighting to be right really matter? Taking into consideration the time, energy, and effort wasted quarreling and bickering with others about situations that don't really have a known truth is just ridiculous.
Why can't we be wrong sometimes? For isn't it true that we learn from our mistakes, also known as wrongdoings. Media as well as powerful, influential minds are corrupting the truth about always looking for the right answer, and always having the right answer at that.
My advice to you, is believe. You may think it's funny, corny, or downright stupidity, but in actuality, believing in something really makes a person's character, which attracts others to listen and break down barriers. Yes, believe in what you do; believe in who you are; believe in what may seem minuscule.
But wait, don't stop there. Believing is only as effective as opening up. Keeping an open mind, allowing perspectives to continuously multiply. You may not believe per say in others beliefs, but as long as you take the time to listen and allow for change, addition to your own mindsets, the world would be a little simpler place.

Working

I have realized that working is extremely hard. Not because the tasks are very difficult, but more so because my face seems to hit flat onto the desk every ten minutes or so. Does anyone feel that work is excrutiating? I guess what I should realize is that there are things to be paid for and look at the optimistic side of the job, right? We'll see how these summer jobs go.

P.S.

I heard that in an average American's lifetime, a person has 20 jobs (great, only on my first).

The Graduate

I have finally graduated! It hasn't really hit me yet that I will not be seeing many of the people I have gone to school with for the last four year, but I'm sure it will sooner than later. I deeply appreciate all of the friendships that have been created through high school and can't wait for all my classmates to come togethere once again in the future to start from where we left off.

Good luck to everyone and will miss not seeing everyone each day :)

Definitely DO NOT like packing!

It really feels that packing tales up so much time. I must say, packing does tale some skill, getting everything into several boxes. What makes it even more difficult is the airline company!

Follow Me on Twitter!

I've been addicted to Twitter for the past month or so. I think that
it hasn't really hit mainstream like Facebook and Myspace, but it'll
get there eventually. The thing I like about Twitter is that
everything is short and sweet, you pretty much at what you gotta say
and your out! Twitter is a totally awesome social site and of you got
one follow me @100up2it

Blog Transformation

I have not written in a very long time, as you can see. I have undergone a phase where blogging about almost every TV show I watched was necessary, but that period has passed. I will keep blogging, but this site will now be for my personal life. I hope that readers will still enjoy what I post and because there will be more variety to this blog, I think that reading it will be possibly more frequent and habitual for some. Some of the subjects I hope to write about are traveling, food, TV (yes, there will be some of my thoughts), and other interests I have that I crave to share and put on the WWW. I'm also excited to add some new photos and post regularly via phone, email, and even SMS!

So...

To new explorations, adventures, and items to put "in the bag"!

peace,

The City UPDATE

I know I haven't been giving my thoughts on The City recently (last two episodes), but I will definitely be summing things up after tonight's finale!

FYI:

-I'm glad Jay and Whitney have finally broken up!
-Olivia got served; she doesn't practice what she preaches..."oh, [the job-presentation] will be easy"... it wasn't for her, she flopped it!
-can't wait for the finale and season 5 of The Hills, April 4th!
-New episode of Gossip Girl tonight, 03/16/09! Finally!
