The City (Season 1 Episode 2)

There was a second...
Like the dumby I am, I forgot that there was a second episode on the same night. Well, this episode of The City continued the story of Whitney's life as she got a little tour from Olivia to Bergdorf's. Whitney got her first pair of Manolo's and Olivia, as she stated about five million times, got her one hundreth pair. First of all, let me get into the fact that Olivia is by far my favorite character, as I think I did mention that in my last entry, and her attitude is beyond what I've expected...superb! I love her snotty sort of style, but at the same time her devious attitude behind everything she says. Back to the episode, it was a bit out there when Olivia did say that her first pair of MB heels were when she was 18 (to Whitney) and then 17 (to Manolo)...are we overexaggerating? lying? From some of the posts I've seen about this socialite, it seems that she isn't what MTV is trying to make her look like. Olivia may actually be a real person wanting fame and fortune. Not too sure on the actual story, but we'll play with MTV's perspective for now. Anyways, Whitney did her first fashion show with DVF and it was an awesome step into the world of fashion. Finally, Whitney met with Kelly (from People's Revolution) and they discussed Whitney's personal life and how that was going. This episode kind of started the real thinking about Jay and where he and Whitney stood in a relationship perspective. Of course there was conflict between Alex (Whitney's former hook-up) and Jay at a club about rumors that were sort of going around, but it was pretty much resolved when Adam backed them off of each other. So this episode was all in all another "Pilot" sort of thing, but we'll see if the NYC is really what Whitney wanted in future episodes.

Bromantic Premiere

Totally Awesome Word; The Show, it's A Start
Well, I'll make this very short. As much as I think Brody and his entourage are awesome people, their show, it may need a little work. The shows theme is like any other competitive reality show, but what really hits it off for guys is the chance to be Brody's bff and enter his world of fame, fortune, and girls! The one thing I didn't really like about the show was the sense of scripty-talk after major scenes, when Brody would come on and give his commentary about that part...it just seemed a little too scripted. But as for this show and blog, I will make sure to keep updated on people who stand out in the crowd. Good Luck Brody to your new Bromance!

The City SEASON PREMIERE

What A Beautiful Life

From the madness of fashion week to the craziness of society, The City has hit MTV's list of hottest shows! This episode of The City, really gave you a sense of all of the people in the show, and how they will be affecting Whitney. On a first note, my favorite character by far so far is Olivia. At first she seemed to be a sort of obnoxious socialite, which she is, but after she invited Whitney to her dinner gathering, I believe that she had some other motives; to not only create a relationship with Whitney, but to find out more about Whitney's life, in a shady sort of way. My second favorite character is Adam. He is a genuine friend to Jay, who plays a big part in Whitney's life, and really guides Jay in ways that won't complicate Jay and Whitney's relationship...good friend! This epsiode didn't really have too much drama, which I hope doesn't take over too much of the show, but it did have a fast pace, just like the NY lifestyle, and it also skimmed through every aspect that the show will be having. Good luck Whitney and friends, and I can't wait for more!

The Hills (Season 4 Episode 20) SEASON FINALE

The End Has Come, Perfectly.
It finally came, after a whole season and a half of waiting.
The moment that Lauren and Heidi made up! It began as an akward sort of get together, but in the end, after some tears shed and chuckles slipped, the two besties hugged it out for a future friendship. It was great to see that Lauren made the effort to tell Heidi that she's there for her. Although this season finale wasn't as expected, being that there was no wow! surprise! or OMG!, it was nice to see that everyone in the show had a part. Audrina and Justin finally got away from all of the drama, and took a break with each other in Palm Springs. Spencer, who I must say earned a good star this episode, listened to Heidi's mother and didn't make the marriage legal in the US, and decided to wait it off for a large fantasy wedding that Heidi has always dreamed of. This season finale was a nice happy ending for the entire cast, and I really really really can't wait for season five to hit fall 2009.

The Hills (Season 4 Episode 18 &19)

From Nothing to Holy Pratt!

Nothing much really happend in episode eighteen except that MTV totally gave away the hint of Whitney moving to "The City". But, as for episode nineteen, the couple are officially the Pratts! As much as I hope they last, I will say that it will be hard on both families, especially Heidi's, to accept this huge news! It finally was announced on the show that Heidi and Spencer tied the knot, after it was reported all over tabloids and celeb news. I believe that Spencer had to be a total idiot, not like I didn't know that, because he sort of tricked Heidi into getting married. First of all, Heidi was totally wasted on Patrone and Tequila that night, and Spencer knew that he needed to convince her before the trip, therefore, why not get Heidi drunk then ask her while she's in her sane mindset. Dumb! We'll see how their relationship will last. The second most traggic news was Whitney officially leaving. Lauren and Whitney have made it so far in life together, remembering when they first started at Teen Vogue, and now Whitney is moving on to new and better experiences. Now this was a nice and simple entry, but I'll make it up next week, when the drama really begins.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008

Not That Bright of a Shine

This year's experience, not so hot. It was quite a different viewing experience as the Victoria's Secret Angels strut their stuff down the newly added, and may I say untraditional, catwalk. This year, the catwalk appeared sidewards; picture this: a stage. So, unlike many of the past years, this year's opening wasn't all that great either. First of all, the show opened up with Usher, who I must say did a great performance for a 40 year old. While he did his thing, models walked, as well as flirted, pass in nonchalant costumes that could have been made in minutes. But, there were a few great parts of this year's show. One being the ever so beautiful women of the renowned Angels. Beauty captured everyone's eyes it made the woman in the crowd want to just lose 150+ lbs. after watching. Of course, the men in the crowd laid back hopefully controlling themselves. And finally, the charasmatic attitudes that everyone expressed. It was great to see that an economically deprived show had such great attitude and energy all over the place! It was no doubt a great experience thanks to those two show inputs. I am hoping for a more decked out show next year, but until then, we'll just have to thank Santa for the awesome show he gave us this year.

The Hills (Season 4 Episode 17)

Happy Endings Don't Come Easy

As hoped, Audrina and Lauren finally made up. During their dinner at Thomesons, they sat and had a nice chat about all of the problems that were going on and all of the faults Audrina had made. It was so nice to see that Audrina has finally realized that she needs time to herself. She has lost the sense of who she is as a person, being so caught up in the drama and life with Justin. What Audrina really needs now is a strong foundation, created by her own image, and a strong support team, made up of her most true friends. After the dinner, it seemed, through facial expression, that Lauren still hadn't gotten everything off her mind. It looked as if she was in a sense happy for the future of her and Audrina's relationship, but at the same time cocky and "I told you so". Who knows? That was the sum up of that quarrel. But, now now now, things don't seem to be going well with the oh so kind Pratts. Heidi, Spencer, and Stephanie (I know it's shocking to see the triangle together again) visited Nana Pratt in Huntington. Heidi and Spencer have supposedly been routinely visiting Nana, but Stephanie has many visits to go if she wants to keep up with the cute newlyweds. When the threesome arrived at Nana's house, Spencer continuously put down Stephanie and made her feel guilty about not visiting their Nana as often as he and Heidi did. Spencer is so obnoxious, I really don't know how the Nana does not realize that Spencer is truly a deceitful person. No, he's her favorite! What's up with that?! Anyways, plans have worked out in favor of Stephanie as they will be hanging out more in the future, but of course Stephanie will have to earn her keep. Seems like next episode highlights the Pratt family fun, oh yay!

The Hills (Season 4 Episode 16)

It's Just The Beginning

First of all, this episode was filled with so much drama and irritating actions that it is hard to fit all of my thoughts on the WWW. As everyone should know, Audrina heard from a friend (who we once again do not see) Dino that Lauren and Justin, yes that Justin, were hooking up. I'm not so sure who's more of the idiot? Audrina for actually thinking that Lauren would like anything to do with the renowned Justin Bobbi (however you spell it), or Dino, for creating more crap that Audrina has to worry about? Hmmm, maybe they are both idiots! Yes. So, Audrina being the gullible one she is, melts down and confronts Lauren about this wonderful scenario MTV loves to slip into random episodes. The confrontation doesn't go as planned, because we all know Audrina just wants Lauren to say that she did it, when we know she would never, so Audrina left the house in a pissy unfriendly mood. Audrina should be the bigger person and, if she is a true friend, trust Lauren. Lauren has been there through Audrina's ups and downs with Justin, Audrina should know that Lauren doesn't have any feelings for Justin! Audrina decides that she would love to see Lauren again, but this time at a more classy and sophisticated place...the club. With all of that noise and blah blah in the background, Audrina and Lauren fought it off once again. But, the words got more intense, Lauren got so mad that she told Audrina that she was worse than Heidi! OMG, I know! That was the great big word you should never say to anyone who knows the way Lauren feels about Heidi! But, Audrina after all of that still didn't believe her. Audrina left as Lauren cried in her mother Lo's arms. After all of the wonderful commercials, Audrina decides to confront Justin about this rumor that has been going around. Justin says "no", but I'm not too sure we can all trust him, and Audrina just keeps on pushing those buttons. She just can't take "no" for an answer! Justin then leaves her, and he has a good excuse. If they are in a relationship together, there should be some trust. Audrina Breakdown Moment! This episode really reveals Audrina's true side. We all hope that she isn't really like this, but she has some major trust issues. I'm not too sure if she has confidence in herself to overcome great obstacle like this? Okay finished with that. To wrap things up, we will see what's going to happen with the two friends who were supposedly "getting closer ever since Audrina moved out"??? (Quote from Lauren Conrad in S4 E15)Yah, don't know what that was all about...

Twilight the movie PREMIERE

After waiting in line with my advanced ticket in hand, reading the
hottest book of the year, and torching myself as I waited for the
movie that was the most talked about for months, I have come to an
overall rating. The comparison between the well written book and the
long awaited movie.
First of all, the book. Many said it was a girls book, and indeed
there was a spoonful "Mr. Romantic," a.k.a. Edward Cullen, in the
book, but there was its fair share of easy reading adventure and
action for the guys as well. I loved the detail and the teen romance
as well as the purity of the book. There was no vulgar material, but
the book was an awesome hit!
The movie, I can simply make a short opinion on this one. I loved
it! But not as much as the book. The book was way better than the
movie just because of the detail and imagery. The movie cut out some
of my most favorite parts in the book. My favorite part was the
meadow, but the movie made it a two minute clip.
I loved both the movie and the book, but I really do hope that the
next movie will be a bit better, and up to par with the book.

Book: 4.5/5
Movie: 3.75/5

The Hills (Season 4 Episode 15) & SPECIAL PREVIEW!

Messy Relationships
Relationships, relationships, relationships. I must say, The Hills gives relationships a whole new meaning. The fighting, complexity, and drama just gives The Hills' cast a new structure of relationships. Audrina and Justin are such a great couple. At least in this episode that is. The way they represent themselves through their words and actions gives them a cutesy, but not serious love relationship status. On the other hand, the dark side, Heidi and Spencer have the worst relationship. Since the beginning, Heidi has been nothing but defensive over Spencer only because she wants this relationship to last. Heidi needs to wake-up and think about her wants and especially needs. Spencer is getting in the way of everything, creating a negative atmosphere and very bad emotions for everyone in The Hills. I'm glad that Heidi finally made the effort to talk to Sam about another shot at sbe, but Spencer should have definitely been a better boyfriend and support her desire. Lauren and Audrina seem to be hangin' in there, but their relationship has no substance. All they talk about is Justin and Lo (rarely). Holly, sort of the nice one on the outside, traded spaces and is now living with Lauren and Lo. It is definitely a change, but things are working out. Holly, in my opinion, has a dark side to her as well. She proved her character just like a true backstaber as she talked about her own sister behind Heidi's back with the person she knows Heidi is not getting along with at the moment. Hmmm. We will see in the episodes to come.

Think About The Future

I watched the promo for the next episode of The Hills, and OMG! it can't be a breakup! I will really be sad if Audrina and Lauren break up as friends. It was such a cruel statement for Lauren to say that Audrina was "worse than Heidi!" What is that? Is everyone a backstabbing, two-faced person now-a-days? And, I'm pretty sure in my mind, Justin isn't Lauren's type. But, we will have to wait and see...

Is it me or are they twins?

I usually do not watch The Hills After show. But, I recently watched it this past week and to my amazement, I was reminded of a special someone when I saw the host of the after show, Jessi. It didn't hit me 'til later that Jessi looked kind of like Ashley Tisdale. It was just a bit awkward for me and that's why I had to put their pictures next to each other so that maybe others could see the resemblance. Although they may not have the same hair color or nose shape, they definitely have the same personalities, fun, energetic, and bubbly. Just thought I'd drop this in as a Candids.

The player, The boyfriend, and The Damsels in Distress

"Mediocre" was the word that could best describe this weeks episode. Whitney and Lauren went to New York on a People's Revolution business trip to take part in the casting call for Buckler's men's line. Whitney was supposed to rekindle the so called "flame" between her and Alex, a male model she met in NYC. Things obviously didn't work out because Alex was a guy who wasn't outgoing enough for Whitney. Alex should have been a bit mor agreesive when the models and the girls met up at the club. He definitely shouldn't have been hanging out with other guys and his regular groupies. More time spent with Whitney and getting know each other would've helped the relationship. But, even then, I think that the two would have had no chemistry. Though, it would've been nice for Whitney to have a friend in the city. Whitney then went on to hook up with Adam's friend, a.k.a. "the serenader", and that was pretty unkind of her. She could've at least spent a little time with Alex and told him that things weren't going to work out, then leave with the Australian musician. What's up with The Hills' girls and their Aussies and bandies? Anyway, that was that. There wasn't too much coverage on those two. As for Lauren, she laid pretty low this episode, as in many recent episodes. Most likely because the shows ending and she's being pushed out??? That's my guess. Heidi and Spencer were very mature, in some respect, during this episode. Heidi started off wanting to start her resumé so that she could find another job. But of course Spencer had to put his two cents and add some of his dumb jokes in before she left the room. That evening as they had the wonderful choice of water at Kress nightclub, Spencer did what could have possibly turned out to be the worst thing in The Hills history, but it actually turned out to be great. Like any good boyfriend would do, Spencer talked to Brent at the club about Heidi's job loss and surprisingly did it in the proper manner. Of course Heidi then "needed" to talk to Brent and apologize for the mishap, but I think that Heidi's "beg" for her job back was a bit uncalled for. She shouldn't have done it in a club, instead maybe call, write a letter/e-mail, or an appointment for a face to face meeting. It was in a way the right thing for Spencer to do as a way to better the relationship between Heidi and him, but it wasn't his place. As for Lauren, Audrina, and Lo, they laid pretty low this episode; hence me giving them the name "damsels in distress", still waiting for someone (exculding Audrina). So, that was pretty much the big scoops from this week's episode.

Starting A New

Today is the day that I have decided why not get serious about this posting up my thoughts online, also known as blogging. I have been doing this for quite some time now but through the one and only, ever so popular, and ever so reliable, Myspace. But, here I am now on Blogger. Can't wait to get started. I'm pretty much a regular person who loves to share thoughts, ideas, and give some of my two cents here and there. To some, blogging is the most retarded thing they've heard of but they should know that blogging is just a way of speaking your thoughts. So, I pretty much talk about things I'm interested in and hopefully it can relate to some people out there in the world. Feel free to give me any feedback or advice.

peace,

This episode proved that all of my thoughts were correct. So, it was in a way sad that Audrina left the house. But, if you think about it, she wasn't really there much during the two years she resided there. I was surprised Lauren and Lo weren't really ballin' because of the abrupt and dissapointing notice they received, what, two days before she needed to move out. Great step for Audrina, hopefully. So, she's so anxious to move in she asks Justin to move in with her. I have the biggest feeling that she only bought this damn house for the sake of her and Justin's relationship, like her sister said in the show. She says she's not forcing it upon him or making it a big deal. But it's a big deal if you buy a $2 million house and say that those three levels are going to be for yourself. Justin will definitely be spending some "quality" time in the new Hollywood house, but the question is...will he decide to move in for the betterment of the relationship? or is he the same Justin, trashy and a player? Audrina may just have to find out the hard way. Lauren seems to be doing the same as well as Lo. The other big moment of this episode was Heidi getting fired! It's about time Brent! That bleach is getting to her head, she really needs to think about her life and not try to incorporate Spencer and her friends into every single Bolthouse production event. Well, it's a bit late for this advice now. As much as Heidi is responsible for her action, Spencer should take some responsibility for his actions while he was at XIV too. It seems as if he knew that would happen. He definitely should have discouraged Heidi from drinking, especially since he was a guest and really not supposed to be interacting with Heidi. Audrina should have said something about them having a couple of cocktails, but she's the innocent one. Anyway, we will definitely see what's going to happen in the future episodes...

*Character Update:
Whitney- Oh boy, she's going on her own! Yes, I have watched the next generation of The Hills. Soon to be called The City, Whitney is going to be running the show. She's moving to New York to work for Revolution there, but is going to find out that it's a whole nother life there. It'll be very interesting and it's wierd cause I really want to live in NY or LA, so since I've got The Hills experience, maybe The City will give me a hint of the big apple lifestyle. I know that she's going to have fun and especially get a new experience with all of the new people, guys, and colleagues she meets. Good luck Whitney, and can't wait to see the show!

The main reason for this post is the fact that Audrina is getting all of the lime light, just as I predicted, and she's making decisions that are crazy! Audrina finally made up her mind and is now OFFICIALLY going out with Justin. Great! She always seems to fall in love with him for the dumbest reasons. Audrina obviously told Corey things weren't working out and I thought they were a very good couple. But, this episode was pretty lame so that's pretty much it.

*Character Update:
Justin a.k.a. "Justin Bobby"He's just another one of Audrina's boys who knows how to sweep Audrina off her feet. That's pretty uncaring of him to keep playing games with Audrina, going from chick to chick, and then when he's got nothing else to do, go back to Audrina. Who knows? Is Audrina going to make a wrong decision...

This episode was one of the most exciting episodes this season, besides when Audrina took her top off...but...Cabo San Lucas was the place to be. From hot chicks to small drama, everyone was there. It sort of seemed like all of the girls that were at the party were models (most of them), MTV, do you think we're buying this? Haha, who knows. Of course Audrina had to pack drama from L.A. and bring it across the border, I guess there would be no point in watching the show if there were nothing to talk about. So, in the future episodes there will be more pissy news but who knows.*Didn't really want to write a long one tonight...peace out.

Character Spotlight:
*Audrina-
As much as I love Audrina, and her fine body, she has got to let Justin go! Tell me this isn't true... This episode just keeps the Justrina couple thing going. It's sick! Audrina should stick with Corey, cause he's the one for her, and just forget about Justin. She shouldn't even have him as a backup or a friends because all that's going to happen is the same sh!t, Audrina getting all hung up on Justin. But, on the brighter side of Audrina's life, she is getting some spotlight on The Hills this season. I think she is going to be the new Lauren Conrad. We'll see. 'Til next time...

*Don't worry I'll keep it short this time :)
In this episode, I felt that there was a lot of drama that was being put into one single episode. At first, I thought that there would be more attitude and akwardness coming from everyone, but there was a sense of good change, which is what the show really needs. So, the first and foremost absolutely awesome thing that happened was Audrina met up with Heidi and they hung out for two nights (yes!). When Audrina and Lo were at GoA (not too sure how to spell it), and Heidi came to chat with Audrina, there was definitely some tention for Lo, Audrina should have introduced and made Lo part of the conversation (she was probably held up in the whole thing that was taking place at the time). Second biggest event that took place, the date with Doug and Stephanie. It was kind of shady at first, but as soon as they went on the date, I could totally tell that Stephanie didn't want to put her friendship on the line with Lauren, so she kind of backed off and just thought of the dinner with Doug as "friends going out". But, the most awkward part of this episode, when Lauren came back. All the news was blurted out and Lauren was definitely sending off some negative feedbacking vibes.

Character Spotlight:
*Stephanie-
Although, Brody is pushing Lauren to think that Stephanie is a bad, shady, untrustworthy person, Stephanie is for sure true to herself, her friends, and her family. Spencer may be cold shouldering Stephanie, but Stephanie isn't giving up, she loves him as a brother and just plainly wants him to see that. As for her relationship with Lauren, she knows that it would kill Lauren to find out that she is untrustworthy and trying to be a shady friend, so she holds back on things she may want, but know that it will come with a possible bad consequence. (Good Job Stephanie!)

I. The Friendship Continues...
As the fought continued between Lauren & Audrina, tonight episode 4 of season 4 revealed that THEY GOT BACK TOGETHER!!! I am psyched that the two people, from very different walks of life have finally talked it out, had a crying session, and just wanted to start a new slate in their friendship. Lo played a major part in this whole fight, but tonight's episode was definitely a 360 degree turn on my view of Lo. First of all, Lo said that she just wanted Audrina to be happy, and for most people that would be hard after a recent fight that they just had been through (Lo's a keeper ;) ). But, back to the point that I'm awesomed out that Lauren & Audrina are going to start a new friendship with each other, I'm pretty sure that since they've got through this whole fighting and cold shouldering, they'll be up for many more years/season of the show to come (it's been a rumor going around that season 4 or 5 will be the last season of the Hills, and there might be a future reality show on MTV that Lauren will want to pursue).

II. Spencer, what can be worse?
Spencer has always been a person that should be hated by everyone! But this episode (4, season 4) took his ASSNESS to a whole other level. In the last episode, Heidi's sister, Holly, moved in to the apartment hoping to get a new life in LA. Tonight, Spencer goes up to Holly and tells her that Heidi and him want her moved out! What person in their right mind would do that to someone that could be his/her future sister in law?!? He put words in Holly's mind that Heidi didn't even mean. He should have understand that Heidi and Holly are sisters and best friends, and that he should help out in any way he can and not be so damn selfish! Heidi should dump his sorry, selfish, good for nothing, living off the show's pay, lil' kid ass! He broke a friendship for Heidi, now what?!? A family relationship? At least Heidi and Holly made up.

III. To Come, is it Christmas already?
The preview of the episodes to come are AWESOME! I wish they would just show what's in the previews already! So, I think that there will probably be a season 5 because I'm predicting that Lauren & Heidi are going to be friends again, whether Spencer likes it or not. If there is no season 5, well the show will end on a good note. There are so many clues that are being given away that Lauren & Heidi will get back together, but we know how reality TV goes... This is how I think it's all gonna go down: Lauren>(friends with)>Holly>(talks with her about realizing that Lauren & Heidi miss each other)>HEIDI!
