In today's day and age, it seems as though everyone is scrambling to be the best and ultimately be right. It is with great humility that I stand here and say "I don't always agree with others, and my opinions seem to be right as they flow scattered in my head", but what people don't seem to understand is that being right comes with great privilege and power.
Taking into example the theory, or should I say theories, of how humans came to be. God, dust, and best yet, monkeys are all familiar theories and beliefs cultivated and propagandized by the past, present, and soon to be future living people. Okay, maybe we did come from monkeys (highly doubt it) and maybe we even came from cockroaches, but does it really matter? Does fighting to be right really matter? Taking into consideration the time, energy, and effort wasted quarreling and bickering with others about situations that don't really have a known truth is just ridiculous.
Why can't we be wrong sometimes? For isn't it true that we learn from our mistakes, also known as wrongdoings. Media as well as powerful, influential minds are corrupting the truth about always looking for the right answer, and always having the right answer at that.
My advice to you, is believe. You may think it's funny, corny, or downright stupidity, but in actuality, believing in something really makes a person's character, which attracts others to listen and break down barriers. Yes, believe in what you do; believe in who you are; believe in what may seem minuscule.
But wait, don't stop there. Believing is only as effective as opening up. Keeping an open mind, allowing perspectives to continuously multiply. You may not believe per say in others beliefs, but as long as you take the time to listen and allow for change, addition to your own mindsets, the world would be a little simpler place.

Working
I have realized that working is extremely hard. Not because the tasks are very difficult, but more so because my face seems to hit flat onto the desk every ten minutes or so. Does anyone feel that work is excrutiating? I guess what I should realize is that there are things to be paid for and look at the optimistic side of the job, right? We'll see how these summer jobs go.
P.S.
I heard that in an average American's lifetime, a person has 20 jobs (great, only on my first).

The Graduate
I have finally graduated! It hasn't really hit me yet that I will not be seeing many of the people I have gone to school with for the last four year, but I'm sure it will sooner than later. I deeply appreciate all of the friendships that have been created through high school and can't wait for all my classmates to come togethere once again in the future to start from where we left off.
Good luck to everyone and will miss not seeing everyone each day :)

Follow Me on Twitter!
I've been addicted to Twitter for the past month or so. I think that
it hasn't really hit mainstream like Facebook and Myspace, but it'll
get there eventually. The thing I like about Twitter is that
everything is short and sweet, you pretty much at what you gotta say
and your out! Twitter is a totally awesome social site and of you got

Blog Transformation
I have not written in a very long time, as you can see. I have undergone a phase where blogging about almost every TV show I watched was necessary, but that period has passed. I will keep blogging, but this site will now be for my personal life. I hope that readers will still enjoy what I post and because there will be more variety to this blog, I think that reading it will be possibly more frequent and habitual for some. Some of the subjects I hope to write about are traveling, food, TV (yes, there will be some of my thoughts), and other interests I have that I crave to share and put on the WWW. I'm also excited to add some new photos and post regularly via phone, email, and even SMS!
So...
To new explorations, adventures, and items to put "in the bag"!
peace,

The City UPDATE
I know I haven't been giving my thoughts on The City recently (last two episodes), but I will definitely be summing things up after tonight's finale!
FYI:
-I'm glad Jay and Whitney have finally broken up!
-Olivia got served; she doesn't practice what she preaches..."oh, [the job-presentation] will be easy"... it wasn't for her, she flopped it!
-can't wait for the finale and season 5 of The Hills, April 4th!
-New episode of Gossip Girl tonight, 03/16/09! Finally!

The City (Season 1 Episode 9)
Wait for it...
MTV loves to keep audiences guessing, and waiting. Well, I'm going to jump to the end of the episode and say that Whitney and Jay's relationship...sketchy, sketchy, sketchy. As Jay was talking about Whitney being his girlfriend and pretty much being obligated to serve her, did you see Whitney's eyes? Yeah, she was probably thinking..."F That!" I don't know who Jay is foolin', but it ain't Whitney...she is a smart and intelligent young lady. As for the reason why Jay is up in Whitney's apartment, stupid reason! Jay needs to realize that yes, Adam may be a little inconsiderate about the whole Allie moving in situation, but he needs to own up and defe
nd his place. Tell Adam he needs time, he was in there first, and if he doesn't want to argue about it...move! So that's that with the threesome triangle. Erin. She is a poor little sad girl. I love her cutesy ways, but she really must choose who she wants in her life, her love life. JR, romantic sweetheart from the past. Or Duncan, hobo from Canada. I say JR, she knows him better. It was sad to see that she didn't have anyone on New Year's Day, but hey she joined the other 25 million people in the world. Olivia and Nevan. Ahhh! Olivia needs to kick him out. He is very irresponsible and can't clean up after himself, a.k.a. a big fat loser! The anticipated catfight, of course, did not happen. But, it was a little tense and grrr at the DVF dinner party that night. It was funny to see how Olivia tried to cut off Whitney as she talked and tried to explain her experiences...good try. Olivia was super pissed. But in the end, they didn't really have a huge fight...just some tension and bitchiness.
The future seems pretty if-y for the couples. We'll see.
BTW: where can I find a jacket like the one Adam's wearing? I've searched near and far... what style is it?

The City (Season 1 Episode 8)
And The Catfight Begins...
So, I will not write much because this is just beginning. But, Jay was a bit underdressed for the charity event, but Olivia should have understood, he is from the ghetz. Anyways, Whitney is a bit overprotective over him and Olivia's cousin...needs to go! I think he's just on the show for the drama, and he can talk a lot of smack. We will see how this fight ruins/mends Olivia and Whitney's relationship...

The City (Season 1 Episode 7)
It hurts to look good
Even though Kelly was a bit harsh, I think that Allie shouldn't have been hurt too much if she really wasn't going through a stage of eating disorders. Kelly did not have the place or right to tell Allie that she was too skinny, about five billion times, but even though, I must say that Whitney shouldn't talk to Olivia about these sort of topics. Olivia was an uber b*tch this episode especially about the whole "shamoo" situation and really not understanding Whitney's perspective or anyone else's for that matter. But, we will see how Olivia acts further on as the show goes on...

The City (Season 1 Episode 6)
A little white lie never hurt anyone... or did it?
Adam, Adam, Adam. I really can't believe that everyone was is one place at the same exact time. It was interesting to actually see that Catarina was sincere about the event that happend between Adam and her, and actually front Allie about the entire situation. At the art show, it was great to see that the girls stood up for their respective friends and really did not argue about the whole drama that was going on. Who knew there was drama in the NYC? MTV did! Olivia did give some great advice to Whitney at work the day of the art show. Olivia pretty much said that Whitney should realize that she's not in high school anymore, drama should be a thing of the past, and really not focusing on what others are doing and crying about, b
ut worry about yourself and the important things in life. So, Catarina seems like a very nice girl who grabbed her emotions together and simply confronted Allie with a full hearted blow out of truth, regret, and condolences. Allie on the other hand was a wreck because of the truth that verbally hit her as the words of thorns came out of Catarina's mouth. Poor Allie, she will need to think things out about the whole relationship with Adam. Adam...he is a chick magnet, which is awesome, but he needs to learn how to stay commited to his girl Allie. Adam is a real nice guy and all, but if he really wants his relationship to work, he needs to get off his high horse and get a slap from Reality. It was really nice to see that Adam was trying to comfort Allie after all of the drama happend, but it was a bit late. I still can't believe he didn't even tell her the truth himself! Adam has his cutesy ways with Allie (i.e. giving her his jacket, calling her "honey", etc.), but he needs to commit and not play around so much. I was impressed by his dinner and how he sort of kept the relationship going by talking with Allie, and it was also great that Allie still stayed true to Adam just because they were in love. So, it seems we will have to see what happens next on The City because it looks as if Whitney and Jay are hitting some bumpy roads (just a tad)...

The City (Season 1 Episode 5)
Adam's Story
I think that Adam is a funny guy on The City. The episode really doesn't show much on if he cheated on Allie or not, so I cannot come to a conclusion on that story, but what I will say is that Allie shouldn't take everything she hears to heart. If she loves Adam so much, then why can't she trust that he didn't do anything with that other hot girl? Not a very exciting episode, but I'm hoping this is just a little taste of what's to come...

The City (Season 1 Episode 4)
Olivia's Not Going To Like This
Yes, Olivia may be hot, but she also does what she does best: gives the synical evil look that puts you in your place, or at least it should. Bad news in this episode, Jay and Whitney...now confirmed as a couple of bf and gf. How sad right? Jay probably thought to himself that if he didn't ask her to kick it up a notch, then Whitney would be dating others...if that's what going to "lunch" is called now a days. Jay most likely knew that Whitney could get some and he'd be left in the dust, c'mon Adam do your job as a best friend and seriously talk him out of it! But, too late now, we'll see how long this relationship lasts. As for Erin, I know that she is still sort of on the beginning stages of her relationship and doesn't want it to end due to the fact that her boyfriend wants to move to NYC. She doesn't want to see him too much or, she feels, she may get tired of him? But, I'm sure that everything will work out for her, hopefully. There really wasn't much else on this episode related to Olivia and her circle, like we all were hoping to see, because those misleading commercials are mean! As for now, we can only hope Whitney is happy :)

Note: Bromance
Change in show post: Bromance
I know, I'm addicted to The Hills, The City, The OC, Gossip Girl, and much more, and I do write about two of my favorite shows that are on. But, I have come to a conclusion that Bromance, although I will still watch it religiously, will not be included on my weekly posts. Bromance is a great show don't get me wrong, but I feel that three episodes can be sort of summed into one blog post, and I will try to keep my analysis up to date on In The Bag, but as for now, just watch and once and a while I will possibly post some featurettes. Good Luck Brody!
The City (Season 1 Episode 3)
Independence is the best way
So, one of the big moments in this episode, Whitney found her own place (of course with the help of Jay) and is moving in and out of Erin's apartment! I think that it will be an awesome step into living the NY lifestyle, and if Whitney chills with the right people and makes the right circles of relationships, she will definitely go far. While I'm on the subject of relationships, lets talk about Jay and Olivia. First of all, Olivia, and her wicked plans, I know is trying to break Jay and Whitney up, I can see it in her eyes. Jay is just not the right guy for Whitney, I believe that Whitney deserves a man who knows that she is there, and not only there for the enjoyment of when she is around him. Anyways, Olivia needs to step her game up, just as she was mentioning when she had a conversation with her cousing, and she needs to get Whitney in the the Upper East Side so Whitney knows the true NY. As for Jay, he needs to be out of the picture, he is still so young and adventurous, he really needs to learn to appreciate one woman. Whitney on the other hand, needs to really decide and be confident in the relationship status of her and Jay.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Reynolds!

Toast to the Newlyweds!
I know it's a bit late, but I would like to congratulate my favorite, number one (no joke) actor, Ryan Reynolds, and his wife, Scarlett Johansson, on their marriage. Ryan Reynolds is one of the best actors because he's not only hilarious in his own witty way, but is a chick magnet! And Scarlett, a wonderful actress who is beautiful and has a suttely (if that's a word) charming personality. I am excited to see what's to come with Ryan and Scarlett, and will definitely be waiting for more awesome movies from Ryan! Cheers!
